Health Department and KWU to Offer Flu Shots

Kansas Wesleyan University and the Salina-Saline County Health Department are teaming up to offer a flu shot clinic.

The event will be next Thursday, November 13th, at KWU. The clinic is scheduled for 11 a.m. till 3 p.m. at the Hauptli Student Center inside Kansas Wesleyan's new Student Activities Center.

The flu shot clinic is open only to adults age 18 and older. Persons seeking flu shots are asked to wear short sleeved tops.

The cost per person is $22. Persons who bring their cards for the following will be covered: Medicare Part B, Medicaid, or Private Medicare Advantage Plan C such as Humana Gold, Secure Horizons, Pyramid Today's Options, or Advantra Freedom.
