Police say items stolen include a Mitsubishi LCD Projector valued at $6,000

Salina Police are investigating a burglary and theft case from a local church totalling over $9,600.

According to Salina Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield, sometime between Tuesday night around 10pm and 8:15am Wednesday morning, someone entered the Emmanuel Christian Center at 1325 East Cloud by breaking a north side window at the church.

Items taken include a Mitsubishi LCD Projector valued at $6,000, two Sony Play Stations, Nintendo Wii, plus a laptop computer and various video games. An interior window was also broken during the theft as well as damage to at least one wall. Total loss and damage is estimated at $9,651
