Two teens from Wichita are hurt in a crash involving a car and a semi on Interstate 135 in McPherson County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, both vehicles were southbound on I 135. The car left the road, hit a bridge rail, and skidded into the passing lane of southbound I-135. The semi then struck the car on the driver's side door. Both vehicles came to rest in the ditch.
Troopers say that two people in the car were hurt. The driver, 17-year-old Dylan Fellows, and lone passenger, 15-year-old Kameo Herlan, were both transported to the hospital. Neither was buckled up.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
The crash happened at around midnight on Monday.
