It's very strange cities west and east of Salina on I70 seem to always be the one's catching these people. Then again Abilene is not saturating their streets on Friday nights hoping to catch some drunks. Not many drunks will have 65k in their cars.

Maybe one of them will have $540 million in their car. It could be you. You can't win if you don't play.

Who says crime doesn't pay? Your government in action, stealing from those who suffered under the delusion that it's legal to possess U.S. Currency.

harryj45: You have NEVER heard me say we do not need our law enforcement officers, I may not agree at times the way certain things are handled or done, but I respect law enforcement people and the job they do!!! I appreciate the fact they leave their families every day, not knowing if they will go home that night. I am entitled to think and feel how I choose on some subjects, just because I do not always agree with everyone, does not mean I do not respect others opinions. Anytime they can remove the drugs and guns from a criminals hands, that is wonderful!!!

Yeah right. Minor plate violation? Probably more like profiling by the uber anal law enforcement in KS. Must have been someone with long hair and an out of state plates. The pigs will steal anyones money if they find out you have a significant amount. They know almost all cash has traces of illegal drug residue. Call the dog officer Shady. Bam. Your money has been seized. You prove its legit in a civil court. Haha. Good luck. Hope your rich and patient. Who are the thugs? Twenty four grams of weed is not considered a saleable amount. However your piggies still took it. Drug proceedsM. Why? Because the pigs have no burden of proof in civil court, the accused does. They must prove money is legit. Cops suck. We don't need them.

Yeah police work in rural ks is really dangerous. I am rolling with laughter. The real question is what kind of person, who loves their family, and is the provider for, would be so selfish as to make his family have to worry about this pig never coming home? A power hungry formerly insignificant person who needs justification of some sort. That's wh9o. Who the hell wants to go arrest people for minor victimless crimes and hasten ruining someones life. Cops are losers. Period. Nobody who has a well balanced and happy life would want to be a pig. Just the ones who can't satisfy their egos without wearing some cornball uniform and some manly cold blue steel. Sissies and thugs always stick together. Thus law enforcement!

I wonder what getumgranny is gonna do when this terrible substance mother nature put on this planet becames legal like that terrible alcohol that kills people everyday and ruins society!? You gonna run for the hills screaming "Satan is after me" lmao. These people were completely legal in fourteen states possessing 22 ounces of marijuana because those fourteen states allow you to carry 28 ounces for personal use. So did these people have conceal carry permits? and how do they know where the money really came from? Im just wondering where the rest of the story is? But i guess you are guilty until you pay for an attorney to prove your innocence..isnt that how the legal system works. This story is just a glorified piece of news trash to make the war on drugs look legit when its really a waste of tax payers money. Now we as the tax payer have to foot the bill for these two while the cops look like hero's.

I have said for years, if they legalize pot and tax it I am all for that!! But, for now, it is illegal. And, I have no problem with guns, it's the ones that do not own them LEGALLY that I have a problem with. And yes, where is the rest of the story, I'm sure there is more to this we are not being told.

Wait. Did I just discover that the prosecutor and the sheriff are related? Same last names in. Small town makes me think so. What the hell is wrong with you people that you would let that happen. This is extremely odd. I am very happy I don't live in this area. What the hell? Weird and sketchy. Pigs blow.
