Salina Police serving a warrant end up also solving a burglary.
Police say that officers served a warrant Tuesday at the Starlight Motel on 19-year-old Joseph Mixon, who they also suspected was involved in a burglary on Monday at 800 N. 2nd Street.
Mixon was arrested at the motel after he broke out a back window and tried to escape. Also arrested was 18-year-old Jordan Cherry in connection with the burglary.
Police recovered items taken in the burglary including two 8 gigabyte Ipod Nanos, two Dell laptops, a 42 inch plasma television, an HP laptop and a JVC digital camcorder. They also recovered two .22 calibre rifles.
Both Mixon and Cherry could face charges that include burglary and theft. Mixon could also face additional charges that include criminal possession of a firearm because he is a convicted felon.

I believe this is a case of profiling. Their pictures are on the sheriffs website. They look like 2 fine upstanding citizens...NOT. Another example of people who should be arrested just for the way they look, or deported (legal or not), or just shot on site.
