Adam Longoria has been found guilty of murder in the killing of a 14-year-old cheerleader whose charred body was found at the asphalt plant where he worked.
A Kansas man has been found guilty of murder in the killing of a 14-year-old cheerleader whose charred body was found at the asphalt plant where he worked.
The jury deliberated for less than four hours before returning their verdict Friday in the case of 38-year-old Adam Longoria. The Great Bend man was charged with capital murder in the August 2010 death of Alicia DeBolt.
To convict him of capital murder, jurors had to determine Longoria committed criminal sodomy, aggravated criminal sodomy or attempted rape during the killing.
The teen disappeared the weekend before she was due to start her freshman year at high school. Text messages show she thought she was going to a party. Her remains were found three days later, burned beyond recognition.

Calm down stinger. I think we can all agree that he needs to be dead, but they haven't sentenced him yet. He may still get the death penalty.

Now that he is guilty. All of the above mentioned should be done to him. I just hope his family takes a long hard look at themselves for letting this young lady go to a party so late even on a weekend night with the animal.

Now it's the moms turn for court. Take away the rest of her kids to keep them safe, and send her to jail for a long time. What did she think this guy wanted out of this?

Mom did little as a parent. Had she made her stay home she would be a live today. No parent should allow a 14 year old to be going out to a party that time of night let alone with someone she did not meet. Charges should be filed against her for child endangerment.

Really deleting my post evidently means Ksal promotes what this Guy did. There was nothing wrong with my post and your censorship shows your support for criminals like this and maybe if this happened to someone in the person deleting these posts family they would get their head out of the sand and look for real justice.

According to the Wichita news he'll get life without parole. Sometimes our justice system isn't just! Life hung by his gonads would be a little better.
