Wichita police say officers shot and killed a 17-year-old home invasion suspect and critically wounded two other men who fled from a rear door.
No officers were injured. Police are looking for a fourth suspect who drove away from the home early Friday. The vehicle was later found.
Police Chief Norm Williams says two of the three suspects who ran out of the back of the house had weapons in their hands. He says the officers gave repeated verbal commands for them to stop, get on the ground and drop their weapons.
Williams says some people at the house were on the front porch when the armed men pushed them inside. A woman already inside the home called 911 to report that men with guns had forced their way in.

Good. Thats what they get. Too bad some of the burglars around here don't get the same. Maybe that would make they think twice.

I believe the law is innocent until proven guilty in the court of law, that way "wrong place wrong time" people who really are innocent are protected. Im glad officers dont just go around killing "suspects"

Remember the kid right here in Saline county who admitted to murdering his step brother ? After a year in the courts, probably close to half a million dollars invested in the investigation, pre-trial motions, jury trial, sentencing, lawyers, etc. and all we got was he's committed to Larned until he turns 21? Wichita PD solved the problem for less than $5 worth of ammunition.

Risingr how stupid are you to pick that case? No where like the situation in Wichita. If you want cases to choose from how about the Mexican that got off on murder here. Or the black Guy that killed 2 people here and again a small sentence. Your using a kid that shot his brother because his parents did not have enought common sense to lock their guns up. The parents should of been charged. Glad the Wichita police know how to deal with these crooks as we know the salina police sure don't.

It is not good that someone is dead. They have families too. It is only good that a crime was stopped.

Conlee people like this come from broken families. They have no conscience and would kill you just the same as to look at you. They are society's scum and deserved what they got.

I have agree that anyone that invades someone's home should be shot and killed. These law breakers have no respect for the people they intend to rob and harm and no one should have respect for them. Shot first an ask questions later the less of these people we have running around the better.

conlee! I'm thrilled this moron will no longer breathe the same air as my children and grandchildren!! It's just too bad the other one's will be taking up time and space in the judicial system!! They should have been killed also. This type of crime is committed by people that have no regard for life of anyone, let alone themselves. Let them plead their case to God, not our courts!!
