Tattoos should only be done by licensed professionals in a clean enviorment. You will get a much better tattoo and can be proud to wear it, oppossed to a crappy tattoo like the ones you see on some people.

Where were these being done? In a private house or on a park bench Or in a business . It takes equipment to do it.

It doesn't take equipment to do a tattoo. Some of my younger cousins gave themselves tattoos by dipping a needle into ink from a pen and pressing it into their skin. That's all a tattoo is. How do you think inmates get them? The don't have equipment in jail, but that's how they tell what gang they are affiliated with. I agree that you should to go a licensed professional because of all the risks associated with getting one, but kids will be kids and if they want something they will find a way to get it no matter what their parents say.

Okay...so my guess is the 15 year old got a couple tattoo's from a friend, then her mom/dad found out and got upset??? Is that the second case, as well? I don't know much about the laws of ink, as I would prefer to go to a licensed, reputable, place. Not saying that those who aren't licensed, aren't reputable through word of mouth-don't get me wrong...I just didn't realize you can get arrested for it...learn something new every day!!!

We all know a tattoo should be done by a licensed person, as should any body piercings. So, when the little girls are using ice cubes, potatoes and needles piercing their own ears, who are you going to arrest? As dangerous as it is, with a risk for infection, kids will be kids and find a way. The adults doing it to a child is another story!! They should be arrested for this. If they are 2 consenting adults, that would be their deal.

The only place in the entire bible where it says anything about tattoos, is in Leviticus where it says do not mark yourself in remembrance of the dead! That is a jewish law set forth to stop bad hygiene and prevent infections. Most modern Christians do not adhere to jewish law so no blood no foul right? There is a spot in Rev. where it says Jesus will have blue stripes on his thighs so you can recognize him So maybe Jesus will have a Tattoo if he ever really did decide to show back up.
