Salina Priest Makes Court Appearance

Father Allen Scheer entered the not guilty plea Friday in Saline County District Court.
A Salina Catholic Priest accused of a sex crime appears in court, and pleads not guilty.
Officials tell KSAL News that 49-year-old Allen Scheer entered the plea Friday in Saline County District Court.
Scheer was arrested Wednesday on a Saline County District Court warrant for one count of sexual battery.
Police say that an investigation revealed that Scheer had inappropriately touched an adult male, "with the intent to arouse or satisfy sexual desires". The alleged offense occurred at the victim's residence in central Salina.
Scheer, who is a pastor at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina, was booked into the Saline County Jail on a charge of sexual battery.
Scheer is currently on administrative leave, and the Salina Catholic Diocese has vowed to fully cooperate with the investigation.

That Catholicism bares little resemblance to Christianity has been a fact which has caused more confusion and damage to Christianity than I would have thought possible. Necromancy, idolatry, and the elevation of Mary to deity, are just a sampling of the evidence. My siter, a devout Catholic, believes she will receive (what amounts to) a sin mulligan if her son enters into the priesthood. Where in scripture do they find ANY this stuff? It's not there. I could go on all day with examples. I hope people who call themselves Christian will come out of 'her' like they been commanded to do. This isn't about perverted priests. This is about the blood of saints showing up on the hands of the papacy of that so-called church.

It sounds like to me is someone is trying to get on the money band wagon and get some of that money the church was paying out. They need to reveal who this person is. If something really did happen is one thing. But if he is lying to get the money or hurt the church lets expose him.

Unfortunately i read this comment thread... to find bible thumping comments, the dude tried to violate this guy has nothing to do with any religion or faith he belongs where he goes for being a pervert no so called book or "faith" should give him a free pass,everyone is so stuck into something they either have no proof of such or lead themselves to believe that everything is what it seems. its not like molestation hasn't gone on within churches for a long time. maybe we should think outside the box for a minute and pay attention to what's really going on.

It's interesting how there are comments with premeditated opinions and judgments without giving the situation a fair chance. To top it off, we don't have any knowledge other than what ksallink or Salina journal provides. Like kansasgirl32 stated "innocent until proven guilty."

As for mispelling words I am human and its gonna happen I hope it continues to drive you up the wall. As for not knowing what I am talking about I am not afraid to post my views. Further I probably forgot more than you will ever have knowledge of in your lifetime. I do not force my views on anyone but toss them out there because many people like yourself are followers and they need to hear the rest of the story not believe what certain entities tell them. If everyone was using their real name instead of an alias, I'm sure it'd take some of the bravado out of their posts. Notice the comments in the Salina Journal article have actual names attached....and a big difference in what is said. The bottom line is... he's innocent until proven guilty.

Name does not matter but nobody comments on the journal. Yea Charlie Manson was innocent until he was proven guilty.
