A safe is stolen from a Salina home.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, someone broke a window and cut a screen to enter a house at 825 N. 11th and stole a safe.

Police say the burglary happened sometime Thursday between 2pm and 5:10pm.

Mike Stonebraker, of Salina told officers the safe held personal papers, a Ruger .44 Magnum handgun with scope and $4,300 in cash.

Total loss and damage is listed at $5,178.

$4,300 in cash??? A hand gun with a scope???? Sounds like drug money to me, with a Ruger .44 Magnum to be used for bad drug geals...

How stupid are people. What good is any safe if it is not bolted down to the floor. If they are not going to bolt down then you might as well set it out in the driveway.

WhoCares, first off I have a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum, I do not use it for drug deals gone bad, I use it for hunting and home defense. Second of all what is a "bad drug geals"??? Either proof read, learn to spell or shut the hell up.
