Agents from the I-135 / I-70 Drug Task Force found 37-baggies of pot and a one pound brick of marijuana at a home near New Cambria.
A Drug Task Force investigation leads to the arrest of a Culver woman.
According to I-135 / I-70 Drug Task Force Commander Lt. Jim Norton, Susan D. Edmonds was arrested after confidential informants bought marijuana from her on four occasions in Salina.
Edmonds was booked into the Saline County Jail on Monday and faces charges that include selling a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.
Norton tells KSAL News the investigation also led to a search warrant being issued for a home in New Cambria.
On Monday evening around 7:30pm, Drug Task Force officers entered a home at 3514 E. Old Highway 40 and found marijuana packaged for sale.
Norton says the suspect, 42-year-old Marshall J. Matthews experienced some kind of medical emergency while agents were interviewing him - and was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment. When released from the hospital, he'll face charges of conspiring to sell marijuana.
Norton says there were 37-baggies of pot confiscated as well as a one pound brick of marijuana with an estimated street value of about $2,000.
Agents also found $514 in suspected drug proceeds - of that $225 had serial numbers on the currency used in the sting.
Digital scales and a bullet proof vest were also gathered in the raid as evidence.
