Three teens are arrested for vandalizing a Salina school.
According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, staff at Salina South High School, 730 E. Magnolia, contacted police after discovering damage done an area of the school by three males.
South High officials told officers during the summer session, a portion of the building is blocked off - and apparently the teens gained access to the area and damaged it.
Police say paint was splattered on the walls, carpet, file cabinets and windows.
The three boys also shot off a fire extinguisher.
The three males who are under 14-years of age, who were not identified, were cited and released to their parents.
Total damage is listed at just over $1,000.

Once again protect these vandals by not releasing their names. Must have important parents.

let the parents pay for all supplies and salary of staff to supervise and let kids do the work. The kids can tear out the carpet if need be and let the parents pay for new carpet and installation.

I think that the names should be said. Who cares if they are under the age of 14! You do the crime you do the time!! Which means that your NAME is in black and whilte plastered all over the internet and newspaper!! Make these kids repair the destruction that they caused. And either make them or the parnets pay for the cost!! REGARDLESS OF THEIR LAST NAME! My guess is that they are all illegal mexicans or wanna be gang bangers trying to make a name of themselves!!

@bulldog400: Good job investigator. Crime solved!! NOT... My only question... how did you arrive at that conclusion? Do you actually think this crap up? If so, wow.... If you didn't think about that before you typed it, my advice to you -- try reading your comments before posting them. You also need to try and get over your bigoted ways.

they were caught and I am sure they will be punished as well as community service hours that include restitution to repair the damages. It is against the law to list the names of minors under 14, why should the law be broken again....
