Vehicles Damaged, Arrest Made

An eyewitness saw the suspect ride away on a bike.
A disgruntled customer is arrested after damaging cars at a Salina business.
Police arrested 44-year-old Terry Titus of Salina on Sunday after an investigation led officers back to his apartment on Guernsy.
An eyewitness contacted police Sunday afternoon just before 1pm, after three vehicles were damaged at Autologic, 1001 W. Crawford - by a suspect riding a bike.
Police allege that Titus spray painted a 1994 Jeep Cherokee and a 2004 Kia Spectra on the lot.
A 2000 Malibu also had scratches on the hood and a passenger mirror knocked off.
According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, Titus had had a disagreement with staff at the business over a recent purchase.
Titus is now facing charges for damage to property.
Total damage is estimated at $800.

Jeff G how about giving us the whole story. Why was the Guy mad? Hope the person that called in is not expecting to be paid for calling the cops because it ain't gonna happen.

Good job to the eyewitness, and getting the police to the guy that caused this damage!! That's what it will take to get these bums that are causing problems, we all need to be on our toes paying attention and reporting anything we see that is suspicious. Time to pull together as a community to fight this crime--burglaries/property damage/robberies etc.... I tired of the criminals getting away with this crap!! To this guy that got caught, hope it was worth what it will cost you now, you should have sued them in small claims court, been much cheaper!!!

Ok granny if we do what you say then we should have law enforcement reduced say in half because with all of us solving these crimes who needs all these cops doing nothing other than writing tickets.

Why reduce cops by half? Half of them can spend their time writing tickets, the other half can be using drones or internet surveillance to keep an eye on disgruntled bloggers. People like Getu have no respect for authority in general or the police in particular. If Salina is so bad and the police are so corrupt, perhaps you'd feel more comfortable in Wichita or KCK ? I happen to like the atmosphere of Salina. Here we read about a few cars getting spraypainted. In most other cities the daily headline involve murder and mayhem. Thank you, Salina PD, for the job you do. As for Getu and the rest of their ilk, Chicago is nice this time of year. How about you move.

Well said risingr, some people that comment on this site are just total idiots. Everyone at one time or another needs help doing there jobs. That includes the police too. No one is immune to this. It just so happens the more we can help the police, maybe the safer it will be in salina. And by the way, go ahead and bash this comment too! Then we will know who the idiots really are!

Wow. Anybody see a pattern here? "I'm not going to call and report anything unless I get paid" or "I should get money for doing that". I sure wasn't raised that way and I don't think many on here were....

Hey risingr just because someone see's the many short comings of lawenforcement does not mean they do not respect it. So you like the atmoshere here in Salina well good for you but many of us citizens do not like you being here. We do not need anymore meatheads that are complacent and have people in authority running their own shows. Gee maybe you are one of them getting paid for a job you are not doing.

Iamgonnagetu: I hear ya, but the simple truth of the matter is, if it takes us all pulling together to minimize the crime, what's the harm in that!? Should the cops stop writing tickets and focus more on the criminal activity, not totally, but I believe they should certainly spend more time patrolling the neighborhoods, keeping an eye out for the idiots causing the trouble, a little less time on the generation of revenue!!!
