The toll from fires blamed on Fourth of July fireworks is adding up around Kansas.
In Hutchinson, authorities estimate the damage at $600,000 from a fire that left a home in ruins and killed a couple's two dogs. Investigators say Thursday's pre-dawn blaze apparently began when fireworks landed on the roof from somewhere in the neighborhood.
Fireworks are also suspected in several house fires in the Wichita area.
Even spent fireworks can spark a blaze. A house in Emporia went up in flames Thursday when two children put a couple of spent sparklers in the ground. The sparklers ignited dry grass under the front porch, starting a fire that spread quickly. No one was injured.

Iamgonnagetu: There are some people in this world not worth the energy or jail time, whocares would be one of them!! :) Someone with the mindset and personality like them are not deserving of the trouble you would get into if you were to pursue his ridiculous comment. The sole mission in life for him is to stir up sh@#!! He's enjoying himself the most when we feed into it. It's obvious he has a very pathetic life, anyone carrying that much animosity is in need of serious help. Don't waste your energy on him, he's not worth it yung'un.

Thanks granny my friends said they will find who this is but seeing how mad I am they will not share with me immediately for the reasons you mentioned. Attack me that is fine but when you keep attacking someone's deceased mother after they are made aware of it is another matter.

sking is right in away.. KSAL can get sued for breaking a privcy law. I realize we all talk and carry on and bs.. Everything on here is not meant to be taken personal.. Not so fast little boys its always who you know not what you know. But somebody great in computers can tap in also the security on Ksal cannot be that great. We all do our share of trash talking on here, but making horrible, sick comments about a guys deceased mother is crossing the line!!!! With all of the homophobic comments made by Iamgonnagetu makes one wonder if he is the one in Thomas Park choking, perhaps the lack of oxygen has clouded his intelligence.
