Police are still looking for at least one more suspect
Topeka police say a resident shot and killed a man who was trying to break into his home.
Police found a man dead after being called to the home Thursday evening.
A man at the home told police that the suspect had tried to
break into his house. The resident wasn't injured.
Witnesses told police they saw other men fleeing from the scene.
Police say they are looking for at least one other suspect.

This is how the story should end! Not another headline about an unsolved theft, or a mugshot of some POS that will be back at it again as soon as he gets out.

The panty waist's in Salina need to wake up and start doing the same thing. Shoot to kill them then let the cops pickup the bodies. After many of these jerks are gunned down it will make others wonder will there be someone there with a gun? GREAT JOB DONE TO THE GUY IN TOPEKA.

Finally!!! The right ending to a burglary/theft story!! This is fantastic, one less crook to worry about on our streets!! Good job to the homeowner, I'm glad this was a happy ending for a change.

I have some mixed feelings about this, but then again some years back I built several panic rooms for clients. Our house is set up with several advanced alarm options and back up alarm systems, CCTV, and its own self-defense system. It can incapacitate, watch, or even take down an intruder if it needs too. That is all I am going to say about that.

Yep!!! Shoot first, if they are lucky enough to live through the bullet, let them tell their side in court!! I own a gun and would NOT be afraid to use it!!! I may not be as steady as I once was, I may take out the TV, stereo, sofa and some knick knacks in the process, but I'm certain I would hit my target at some point!!! LOL :)
