Cash and jewelry is stolen from home.
A burglary occurred between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 13 at the home of Rita M. Copper, 53 of 537 Crestview.
Cooper was outside in her backyard at the time of the burglary, according to the Salina Police Department. Before going outside, Cooper had laid a twenty and five dollar bill on her kitchen counter next to her purse.
Upon returning inside, Cooper noticed that both bills were gone. She then checked her purse and found that between three and eight dollars had been taken.
In her bedroom she noticed that a glass crystal dish had various pieces of jewelry missing. Along with the missing jewelry in her bedroom, she discovered that a fifty dollar bill and five one hundred dollar bills that had been sticking out of a stack of envelopes were gone.

I bet the front door was left unlocked or a garage door was left open. We all know people that live up there have all kinds of money this just goes to prove it. Why would she have all this money just laying around?

Another one while outside in her yard??!! Either these crooks are getting braver or she has some desperate friends too. I would check with family members/friends that were in and out over there first, who else would have known where to look!!
