Burglary Occurs While Woman Is Gardening

Burglary occurs while woman is out gardening.
Jo L. Peterson, 59, Richard J. Easterly, 64, and Ryan E. Peterson, 28 of 407 Putnam were the victims of a burglary between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, July 15.
Jo had spent the day outside gardening, according to the Salina Police Department, and was unaware of the burglary.
Taken from the home was a cell phone, multiple keys on a keychain, $40, and a Big Nose Kate's cup that was half full of change.
Total loss is $740.

Sounds to me someone was driving around looking for easy places to hit. To bad someone was not waiting for them with a 9mm. People like these crooks need to be gunned down.

These thieves are getting more brazen, outside working in a garden and they get robbed!! Once again, I would suspect someone that was a friend!!

If I bent over in the garden, not sure I'd be able to stand back up!! And, I would look like one of those cut-outs of the backside of an old gal people put in their yards!! LOL :) Oh, I'd probably scare my taters half to death!! :)
