Two bicycles are stolen from an open garage.

According to the Salina Police Department, Dwayne Yager, 34 of 501 Kensington, left his garage door open on Sunday, July 15.

Yager's bike, a Gary Fisher Wahoo, and a Gary Fisher bike he had borrowed from Corrie Nelson, 33 of 415 Sunset, that was in Yager's garage were taken.

The bikes were stolen between the hours of midnight and 6:30 a.m.

Total loss is $1200

Hmmm you have expensive bikes so you leave your garage door open all night. With all the crime in Salina people that just leave things open for the crooks deserve what they get.

I got one to add, someone stole my $88 walmart bike with one flat rear tire, right out of my brothers front yard. Can you believe that? Well it doesn't surprise me one bit. I hope you have fun with it

Oh no one had never forgotten to close their garage door....come on. I know we have and have just been lucky.
