Police Investigating Theft of Electronics

Police say they drove off in an orange automobile.
Police are investigating after four suspects walk out of a Salina store with a Television.
According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, Sunday around 5:25pm an employee at Wal Mart, 2900 S. 9th, saw a black man and three black women roll carts out of the store's north door with a 50-inch Philips TV and two LG surround sound systems.
Police say they loaded the stolen electronics into an orange passenger car possibly a Dodge Avenger.
Total loss is listed at $1,148.

sounds like its easy to rip off walmart they just let you waltz right out the door I bet they had a car load after they got that stuff stashed in that car , wonder if they strapped anthing to the roof ?

What are they investigating??? Just sweep it under the rug like you do all the other thefts... Besides, I have heard the buzzer go off when people were leaving walmart, and no employee made any attempt to stop anyone to check receipts, so that is their own loss... Besides, it's walmart, who cares....

I too have watched people stroll on out when the alarm goes off at the door, not one employee takes the time to stop people and check receipts!! This is so irritating, this costs ALL consumers, their losses are passed down to all of the honest people at the check out stand's. As for the "Police are investigating", well, I'm sure we all know what a joke that is!! This type of crime does not generate revenue for the city, they will not waste their time on this stuff!! I'm sure MOST of us has figured this out by now!!! I suspect they do not tackle people anymore at the doors when the alarm goes off because of the embarrassment to people, I watched a guy at Dillons one day chew the store people out because they had missed deactivating the security device on something he had purchased, I would MUCH rather have them checking everyone than pay the price with increases on the products I buy!!

peresonally i think it couldnt have happened to a better store. ive had nothing but trouble when ive been there and the people who work thewre are all rude
