It does sound pretty suspicious to me too!! Are we sure this guy did not take them with him, sell them?? Maybe he needed some moving money!! Or, yes, perhaps an employee saw an opportunity and seized it. But, alas, it will go unsolved like all the other crimes here do. I'm sure by now this report is long forgotten already. The criminals here know they have nothing to be afraid of because they know the police will not look for them. Unless a buddy turns them in they are safe, so why would they quit the stealing.

If they were left sitting outside anyone could of gotten them. The crooks keep and eye out for stuff like this. To bad the people did not get rid of the sheriff and we have to pay him a half million dollars in the next four years. But it was pointed out to me that those that commit crimes here got out and voted for him. My response was say what? It was pointed out to me the department does such a poor job in catching anyone that the law breakers don't want any change or improved law enforcement. Makes sense when you think about it.

The simple fact is, the crooks in our community are not the least bit afraid of our law enforcement community!! That's why the thefts/burglaries/robberies etc... continue to rage on in Salina. They know what a huge joke it is when the city police say they are "actively investigating..." As I have said, I do think Sheriff K should start considering retirement, it was just too bad there was noone with the proper credentials to run against him. Given the choice between Bart Allen and Sheriff K, I would much rather have someone with the experience needed to run the department.
