Candidate Forum Tuesday In Salina

The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce and League of Women Voters will sponsor a candidate forum for contested races for Saline County Clerk, Saline County Treasurer, Saline County Commission, local State School Board; and local State Legislative Candidates, on Tuesday of this week. The event is from 5:30-930pm at the Chamber’s Visit Salina Annex, 120 W. Ash.
According to the chamber, three sessions will be held.
The first session will run from 5:30-6:20pm and will feature candidates for Saline County Clerk and Saline Country Treasurer. The second will run from 6:30-7:50pm and will feature candidates for Saline County Commission and State School Board; and the third will run from 8-9:30pm and feature candidates for State Legislature.
The forum will be moderated by Dan Mendicina, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber, and Ann Zimmerman, Past President of the League of Women Voters.
The format of the forum will consist of one minute opening remarks by each candidate, questions from a media panel, questions from the audience, and one minute closing remarks by each candidate.
Candidate Profiles on all of the candidates, prepared by the Chamber, are available at the Saline County Clerk’s office, the Chamber office, 120 W. Ash, and on the Chamber’s website www.salinakansas.org. They will also be available at the forum.
The forum is free and open to the public.

I would ask each one of them if they plan to revisit the River project or the Expo project. Get a simple yet clear and definate yes or no out of them. Not a maybe, not a "not right now", not a "I have no plans for that".....YES or NO.

Hey Troy do you really expect an honest answer? Like anyother politician they will tell you what you want to hear to get elected then do as they please.
