Jeff Garretson - Tue 11:11 AM 10/02/2012
An instrument is stolen from a music student at Kansas Wesleyan.
Salina Police say sometime between Saturday afternoon at 4:30pm and Sunday morning at 10am, someone removed a violin from a locker on Wesleyan's campus.
A 19-year-old KWU freshman contacted police after realizing her KC Strings violin was missing from her storage locker at Pioneer Hall.
The woman told officers that she usually secures her violin with a padlock - but this time she did not.
Total loss is listed at $700.
