Why was the motorcycle laying down in the road in the first place? Was the driver of the pick-up wearing a seatbelt? What about the biker, was he wearing his seatbelt when he laid down his bike? Come on KSAL... we need to know this info before stupid people like THEENFORCER, iamgoonagetu, aurora, tbone and equineman start spitting out their expert knowledge on why this happened...

I have no sympathy for the girl that hit him. Maybe she should of been paying attention and I guess i feel this way because i know the guy that she killed. His family and friends will forever have to suffer and so will the other people that were with him that had to witness what happened. I dont kare what she has to live with because she should of been watching and not riding the Yellow line.

Did he not set flares, orange triangle's call the cops to say he laid down his bike. You have to be smart when on the side of a highway. Don't blame the girl.

spanishlynx.... I shake my head at your stupidity.... I know they dont have seatbelts(duh), I only say this because everytime there is an accident, the po-po seem to want us to know whether a seatbelt was worn or not...

And now comes all the accusations I was waiting for... Nowhere in this article does it say the girl was at fault.. Was she speeding? Was it dark? Was she texting/talking on cellphone? Just like always... everybody wants to jump in and blame the driver of the other vehicle... I still want to know why the motorcycle was laying in the roadway... Was he drunk? Talking on cell? Speeding?

Inthestyx12... you need some experience of driving before you try an make any accusations. You say the guy was on the side of the road, and she was riding the yellow line... Hmmmm... If thats the case, how did she hit him? The yellow lines are in the middle of the road... white lines are on the side... So I don't care what you or his family has to live with, this girl will suffer everytime she gets behind the wheel...

whosyourdaddy if you are such the expert on how things are then why arent you a cop. I dont what this girl will go through maybe she shouldnt have been texting on her phone and it wouldnt of happened. His bike was on the side of the road he went to help someone else I dont know that location. So maybe you should get the whole report from people that were there and then you would know what happened. I dont kare what she has to go through she took the life of someone else over a dang text message.

She was NOT texting! She was NOT speeding! There were no lights of any kind. I don't know where you got your information about her texting, but you are wrong.

You were not there you have no idea what happened. But someone died and it was the fault of someone. Whether that Kadie was texting or not is to be found out but she had been drinking

Julia had a family, grandkids, and a mom, brothers, and sister, cousins, and the whole family that he will never be with again... So feeling sorry Kadie and knowing she has a little baby doesn't hold Much water. He was 46 years young..... Wake the f!@k UP....
