Highway Patrol Moves To Electronic Citations

The system will first be implemented in northwest Kansas.
Kansas Highway Patrol troopers will be issuing electronic citations instead of written ones starting next week.
The system will first be used in the northwest part of the state, with the other six regions to make the switch in a few months.
District courts throughout the state support the move because it is expected to reduce lag time in getting ticket information to the courts and help law enforcement track violations.
A news release from the Highway Patrol says motorists being issued a ticket won't see much of a delay, and their signature won't be required.
The system also won't allow fine amounts to be changed.
The patrol says no new hardware was required to implement the system in patrol vehicles.

OMG look at what is going on with vehicle registration and the computer situation and can you image the problems with this? One good thing it will give these guys alot more time for eating donuts since they will no longer be writing tickets.

Really what state you live in? The only fit ones are the new recruits. Those others are just fat out of shape ticket writers. Why don't you crawl back under the outhouse you came from under. The first post was right take writing tickets away from them and they will have more time for donuts or to sit somewhere visiting with each other. Plus if you think for one minute the computer system will handle this without problems then you live in LA LA LAND.

Indy452, don't even try to reason with Iamgonna or Getalife (one in the same person), as he is just an antagonist and tough talker. I am sure that the law abiding citizens in Kansas support our Troopers and the service they provide to us at great risk to their own personal safety.

Indy452 I am sorry I missed spoke about Iamgonna or Getalife first saying they are one in the same and then falsely calling them names which is forbidden on Ksal. I also do not think alot of people support our troopers and the little service they provide. Yes they do have risk and their personal safety in jepordy when they stop vehicles but they choose to be a trooper.

I'm sorry folks. Im crazy. I want to be the real Victory2012 so bad I can't sleep and it really has made me crazy. Iam sorry you had to put up with my craziness the past couple of years, but i have real problems and nobody to help. If I only had friends and some money. I also ahve to confess. So victory got caught screwing with someone's name on here. I am not surprised. I noticed that the name was not the same for Iamgonna and wondered what was going on. Plus the verbage was not the same. When you have forums like this it attracts the lonely and mentally ill people to post to feel good about themselves. The sad part is the rest of us have to suffer because of them acting like pre-schoolers. I myself have pointed out that this person has multiple id's now he has proven it. I hope ksal catches on to victory2012 now that he has shown them the real danger he presents on here.

Gee whiz I am gone for a couple of days and all heck breaks out. Victory2012 I was correct evidently in my complain against you as Iamgonna has found out. Are you going to try it with my name next?? Hope you do because I will not call KSAL but I will go down there and demand you be taken off of here. When people like you start pulling this type of thing KSAL has got to change their procedures for letting people register and abuse the system. There definately is something wrong when someone does this for attention.
