Storm, Bombers, Shock: Salina Indoor Football Team Name Narrowed To 3

The person who submitted the winning team name will receive two tickets to the game, an autographed game ball and the opportunity to be on the field for the coin toss.
More than 600 team names submitted by Salina locals have been narrowed down to three: Storm, Bombers and Shock. Now Salina will vote for the winner of the three at BicentennialCenter.com today through Wednesday, October 31.
Winning team name and other special announcements will be released at a press conference held at the Bicentennial Center on Thursday, November 1 at 10 a.m.
The person who submitted the winning team name will receive two tickets to the game, an autographed game ball and the opportunity to be on the field for the coin toss. In case of duplicates, the winner will be determined by the first submission received. All duplicate submissions will receive two tickets to the first game.
Single game tickets will be $9, $14 & $22 and available online at BicentennialCenter.com, by phone at 1-888-826-SHOW (7469) or in person at the Bicentennial Center box office.
Season ticket applications are being accepted now at the Bicentennial Center box office. A special “Pick-A-Seat” event will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 3 p.m. Applications received before December 8 will have priority selection at the event. Call 785-826-7200 for more information.

No matter what the team name ends up being the majority of Salina says thank for bringing indoor football to town. Let the grumps and whiners say what they want and the rest of us will enjoy this high powered action packed sport.

I used to go to the basketball games when we had the team here. But all you people that get on here and brag about going to games never supported that team and you will not support this team. TALK IS CHEAP.

There is no satisfaction in the top three choices for a team name. What are they thinking? Who decided on the Top Three? I hope it does not blow up like the Cagers did . This team needs some talen and not some ganster wannabe's playing ball. This is not the Longest Yard!
