Deputies Looking for Stolen Vehicle
Jeff Garretson - Tue 10:38 AM 11/13/2012
A pickup truck is stolen from a rural property.
The Saline County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a 1998 Ford F-150 is stolen from a property in the 1900 block of S. Lightville Road.
Thomas Wikoff of rural Brookville, told deputies the white truck with running boards, was taken sometime between November 7th and November 10th from his property.
The owner told deputies the keys were not in the truck and it does not have a licence tag and was used only for chores.
Total loss is listed at $6,000.

So how did it get stolen? Does he live where the truck was parked? The big question if he uses it to do chores why was it not noticed for 3 days. Chores on a farm are done daily. Something smells here an its not manure.

You really should turn off your TV, quit watching CSI, and get out a little more. Maybe you should start yet another ID for yourself. Barney Fife.

I cannot believe they have not located the truck yet. But that's par for the course. I saw a female deputy cruising down Ohio the other day with her cell phone stuck to her ear just talking away. This is inappropriate to me and if she needs to talk to someone she can wait until her break. The sheriff forgets that he and his deputies live in a glass globe and have the eyes of everyone on them all the time but yet things like this occur on a daily basis.

Here's a clue the journal reports there were no tags on it and this guy values it at 6k. Alot of money for a beater farm truck. Plus it is not registered so he is beating the system also so he does not have to pay taxes on it.
