Teen Arrested after Argument at Salina School

A lower ranking cadet lashes out at an older student at St. John's Military School.
According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, police arrested 15-year-old Bryan Butt of Picayune, Mississippi, after an alleged incident at St. John's Military School, 110 W. Otis, on Thursday evening just after 6pm.
Police say Butt was told by an 18-year-old cadet leader to get into formation, when he refused a verbal argument ensued.
Butt then allegedly said he was going to stab the older student and reached into his pocket to grab a broken pair of garden shears.
An adult supervisor and the cadet leader subdued him.
Police arrested Butt on charges of aggravated assault and criminal use of a weapon.
No one was injured, Butt was placed into the Saline County Juvenile Detention Facility.
