Store Clerk Fatally Shoots Robbery Suspect

Two armed men entered KC Gas & Groceries shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday and encountered an armed clerk, who shot one of them.
A Thanksgiving night Wichita convenience store robbery turns deadly after a clerk shoots one of the suspects.
Two armed men entered KC Gas & Groceries shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday and encountered an armed clerk, who shot one of them. Police arrived to find a man lying on the floor of the store. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 7:43 p.m.
The same store was robbed less than a week before, but police aren't saying whether it was related to the one Thursday.
In the earlier robbery, the store's clerk had just closed up for the night when he was approached by two armed men who ordered him
back into the store. The robbers cleaned out the cash register and fled on foot.

GOOD!!!! thats what people need to start doing. puts some bullets in these stupid thieves and maybe it will get them thinking. this is what needs to happen around here when a loser breaks into someones house. they need to blow them away.

Exactly what needs to happen! I am waiting for all the bleeding heart comments about how this robber could have been rehabilitated, had a dreadful home life growing up, had family and friends that loved him, was a human being, and all the other asinine comments. Fact is, these guys went into the store loaded for bear to rob it by the use of deadly force. This guy got what he deserved and it should happen to a lot of others who comment violent crimes. Instead of relying on our "wishy washy" justice system.

I agree with all of these comments...Maybe by chance? that will make the others Think for a min before trying to take what belongs to others...there is hope for ONCE...AND Keep it up...The clerk shouldn't feel bad for trying to defend himself and trying to keep what BELONGS there...especially when it has happened ..a week ago?WOW
