Tools Stolen from Cell Tower Crew

The Saline County Sheriff's Office is investigating after numerous tools are taken from a construction site.
According to Sheriff Glen Kochanowski, someone broke into a locked trailer that was parked near the intersection of S. Cunningham and Crawford, and removed tools and equipment owned by Chaffin Tower Services based in Oklahoma.
Sheriff Kochanowski tells KSAL News that the crew is building a cell phone communications tower for Nextel Wireless at that site.
Deputies say sometime between 5:20pm on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning at 7:52am, someone removed numerous drills, saws, wrenches and ratchets.
Two transit levels and two transit measure sticks were also stolen as well as numerous galvanized bolts.
Total loss and damage is listed at $11,700.
