Another Winter Storm Possible For Christmas

Forecasters say it's too early too predict the exact track of the storm.

Forecasters say it's too early too predict the exact track of the storm.

A week before Christmas, forecasters are warning that holiday travel could be disrupted by snow and high winds in the Southern Plains.

The National Weather Service says a storm out of the Rocky Mountains could bring whiteout or blizzard conditions to parts of Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas on Christmas night.

An exact track of the storm isn't known, nor are snowfall amounts nor when the storm may be at its worst.

Forecasters said the weather could force travelers to change their plans next week and said later reports would have better predictions of where the storm may hit.

All things considered, it'd be the worst time for a blizzard, but as dry as we are, and as desperate as we are for moisture....we'll take it any way we can and hope for the best. Happy Holidays....drive safe.

@ tlamastus, Happy Holidays! I can say whatever I want and you can say whatever you want! I said "Happy Holidays!" not out of political correctness but it's easier than saying Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Years when I don't know which holidays you celebrate. So...Happy Holidays everybody!
