Fleeing Man Arrested

A Salina man is facing charges from both Salina Police and Saline County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff Glen Kochanowski tells KSAL News that deputies arrested 27-year old Zachary Vanbebber of Salina, on Monday at 11am.
Deputies were executing an unrelated search warrant in the 300 block of N. Phillips when Vanbebber was spotted.
Authorities say he jumped out of a stolen pickup he was driving Sunday night and ran away.
The Sheriff's Office is charging Vanbebber with felony fleeing and eluding, while police have charged him with burglary, theft and damage to property.
Officers say he caused $600 damage to Bill Adam's Cabinets, 709 Bishop, when he allegedly broke into the business over the weekend and stole the 1983 GMC pickup.
The truck is valued at $2,000.

AT LEAST THEY CAUGHT ONE ROBBER BETWEEN BOTH DEPARTMENTS. NOW THEY WILL GO BACK TO GIVING TICKETS FOR SEATBELT VIOLATIONS.

Ok.....now wheres your hateful, disrespectful comments towards the SALINA POLICE DEPARTMENT? And i still dont see any of you who complain about the officers gettin out from behind the computer to go do their job.....so quick to judge people that have a job that ya'll cant do.

Gee yet another id by Mr. ID on here. As fast as they knock him off here he creates 3 or 4 more Id's. I believe it was well said both departments caught one guy and they feel they solved the crime problem. It is great they finally caught someone but they have a long road ahead of them.
