A teen is killed in a late night crash involving a deer.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a GMC Yukon was headed east on Interstate 70 late Friday night.

Troopers say that the driver swerved to miss a deer. The SUV hit the deer anyway, and then drove off the shoulder. The driver over corrected and rolled. The SUV landed on its top hitting a fence.

A fourth teen was killed. She is identified as 16-year-old Hope James of Dighton.

Troopers say that everyone was buckled up.

That's really sad, this is why the gov't needs to give and allow more deer permits to be issued to hunters. There are so many deer around. I counted 12 deer the other day in a pasture. What's more important gov't regulations on deer or freedom and saving human lives.

SO DOES THIS GUY T-BONE. How inappropriate to say what he did on here when a young person is killed. What is the matter with this radio station to permit him to make the statement and not delete it. Maybe a complaint to the people who own the station will fire the guy who is suppose to be monitoring this site.
