Judge OKs Hawker Beechcraft reorganization plan

Associated Press - Sat 12:10 PM 02/02/2013

A federal bankruptcy judge has approved Hawker Beechcraft's reorganization plan, clearing the way for the aircraft-maker to exit bankruptcy later this month.

Judge Stuart Bernstein ruled Friday that the company proposed the plan in good faith to maximize the value. The judge also said the plan was in the best interest of creditors and called the exit financing fair and reasonable.

Hawker Beechcraft CEO Steve Miller says in a news release that the ruling marks a final significant step in the restructuring. He says the company's goal through the process has been to emerge in a strong operational and financial position, better able to compete into the future.

The renamed Beechcraft Corporation will focus on turboprop, piston, and military aircraft, as well as its parts and maintenance business.

Here we go again: They will emerge from bankruptsy, start to make a profit, then the union will demand more money and benefits, then the company will go into bankruptsy, then they will emerge from bankruptsy, start to make a profit, then the union will demand more money and benefits, then the company will go into bankruptsy, then they will emerge from bankruptsy, start to make a profit, then the union will demand more money and benefits, then the company will go into bankruptsy, then they will emerge from bankruptsy, start to make a profit, then the union will demand more money and benefits, then the company will go into bankruptsy, then.....

Well then get up off your butt, go to college, and become a CEO yourself. If you were the CEO you might then see the unions for what they really are.

Well excuse me all to hell "mr born with a silver spoon in your mouth"! Funny how you claim to work for what you have but yet you crap all over those that do. CEO's have been taking 300 times more of the cash each year than those that have made it for them, but we see whose side your on, "NOT THE WORKER"! Go blow some smoke up someone else's butt!

No silver spoon, not even close. I work damn hard for what I've got. I'm on the side of every worker that actually WORKS! I don't care how much the CEO's make. I'm not jealous of how much they make, I definitely don't dwell on how much they make. Why on gods green earth do so many folks whine about how much a CEO makes but never stops to think........damn!, if I worked a little harder that could be ME! Noooooo, they would rather cry about it and hope their union can negotiate a pay raise and another coffee break.

Again, I'm not siding with the CEO's. I'm all about the guy who gets up in the morning, goes to work on time, works hard all day, and does it again tomorrow. I agree the CEO's make an insane amount of money, but who cares. If you are jealous of them, get a degree and become a CEO yourself. Until then, get up Monday morning, go to work on time, work hard all day and enjoy life. And work for what you get and get what you work for. Don't expect "Vinnie" and the union folks to negotiate you into financial independance. You do that by getting up in the morning, going to work on time, and working hard all day!

As Obama care takes hold, more and more kids will be on free lunches. With parents work hours being cut back to 28 hours a week or less to avoid the whole insurance thing, money will get tight. Folks will have to learn to work hard again, ask your grandparents about it, they will teach you a lot.
