KSAL News Staff - Tue 05:15 PM 02/12/2013
Several AT&T work trucks are damaged after copper thieves try to drive off with a large spool of wire.
According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, Salina Police are investigating a burglary where offices and trucks owned by AT&T were broken into between Saturday and Monday at 409 E. Prescott.
Police say 7 of 13 trucks on the lot were damaged while 6 office spaces were either entered or damaged.
It appears at one point someone attempted to drive a 2007 F-350 work truck through the fence and it became high-centered on a post.
Damage and loss is estimated at over $4,000.
