A driver is killed in a weekend single-car crash in Western Kansas.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 22-year-old Skyler Jones of McCracken was driving a car east on a rural road in Ness County. He lost control of the car and veered off the road. The car rolled multiple times, landing on its top.
Jones was killed in the crash. Troopers say that he was buckled up.
The crash happened at around 7:15 Sunday morning about two miles west of McCracken in Ness County.

Why do we not hear about all the accidents everywhere in Kansa that people are killed in? Why just pick certain ones? Guess the seatbelt did him no good.

It's too bad the young man died-22 years old - very sad and I feel for the families loss. I do agree with iamgonnagetyou---the seatbelt did him no good ---- I'm a big advocate of that fact that is should be a "personal" choice to wear your seat belt-----we are adults - let us make that decision--just a way for them to make extra money and then waste time and tax dollars when "real crimes" need the attention.

I agree with both of them on the seatbelt issue. As far as the story there were many accidents in the state where people died so why were they not listed on this site. Who plays god in choosing these stories?

You three should hold hands and go play patty cake somewhere. RIP Skyler.

To the first three posters. Just because you can comment, doesn't mean that you should. Family members can and have read this, and quite frankly, it is more than a little insensitive. RIP Skyler. You were a good kid.

So if you all are concerned then you would agree this story should not be on here and then nobody in the family would have to read about it. Your complaints are not with people commenting but with the story being on here to begin with.
Aurora.

Why do they post stories of people killed? Do they enjoy the families suffering even more? There is plenty of news and accidents and this one is not close to Salina that maybe someone would be interested.
