New faces can now be found on the list of Salina's Most Wanted. The list was updated early Saturday.

According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office, 8 people were arrested from last month' list, and one crime stoppers reward was given out.

Those on the March list are wanted for crimes that include things like felony drug crimes, aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, making criminal threats, burglary, felony theft and more.

Since the program began back in July of 2000, thanks to tips from the public, over 1,852 criminals have been caught, and 258 crime stoppers rewards have been given out.

The most wanted program was founded through the cooperation of the Salina Police Department, the Saline County Sheriff's Office, the Salina Journal, and Newsradio 1150 KSAL.

How much in actual money has been paid out?.....What did the investigation of the sheriff's office turn up?....Were any employees terminated due to the killer escaping?.....Has the sheriff turned in his resignation?

Good questions especially about the sheriff's big investigation cover up of the escaped killer. But we all know how both the police and sheriff's department cover up anything that involves them doing something wrong. 258 crime stoppers rewards given out for how much? We can do the math if you supply the figures. Probably the reason for no amount is given is because not one person evidently got enought to buy even a half basket of groceries.
