A woman is killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 in Dickinson County Monday afternoon.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 75-year-old Audrey Scott from Olathe was driving a passenger car east on I-70. She lost control and crossed the median into the path of an on-coming truck driven by 31-year-old Terry Davis from Andover.
The truck hit the car broadside.
Scott, who was buckled up, was killed. Davis was not buckled up, and was hurt. He was transported to the hospital in Abilene.
The crash happened during the noon hour Monday about 5 and a half miles east of Abilene on I-70.
