Man Hurt in Dickinson County Crash

Troopers say the crash happened just after 7:00 Thursday morning 3 miles East of K15 highway on 1400 Avenue in Dickinson County.

Troopers say the crash happened just after 7:00 Thursday morning 3 miles East of K15 highway on 1400 Avenue in Dickinson County.

A two-car crash in rural Dickinson County early Thursday morning sends one person to the hospital.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Jonathan Douglass from Abilene was driving a car west n 1400 Avenue. At the same time, 19-year-old Ryan Parks from Fayetteville, Georgia, was driving a car south on Jeep Road. Parks pulled out from a stop sign, and was struck broadside on the driver's door.

Parks was transported to the hospital in Abilene. Douglass was not seriously hurt.

The crash happened just after 7:00 Thursday morning 3 miles East of K15 highway on 1400 Avenue in Dickinson County.
