Salina United Way to Host Telethon
Viewers will be able to call in pledges Tuesday night

The Salina Area United Way will have several guests during the telethon including Salina Area United Way Board Members, Agency Directors, representatives from Outlaw Cycles, and a featured past recipient of United Way funding.

The Salina Area United Way will have several guests during the telethon including Salina Area United Way Board Members, Agency Directors, representatives from Outlaw Cycles, and a featured past recipient of United Way funding.

This Tuesday evening from 7 till 9:00 the Salina Area United Way is hosting a telethon.

The United Way officails say they are "inviting the people of Salina to tune in to cable channel 21 for a fun, informational and profitable two hours".

Several guests will appear on the telethon including Salina Area United Way Board Members, Agency Directors, representatives from Outlaw Cycles, and a featured past recipient of United Way funding.

Also planned for the program is a sneak peak at the musical "Working" a production that combines both the Salina South and Salina Central Drama Departments.

Viewers will be able to pledge to the 2009 Salina Area United Way campaign during the telethon by calling 785-833-2255 during the live broadcast, or 785-827-1312 during regular business hours.
