The KDHE reports that both patients had underlying medical conditions that put them at greater risk of severe complications from the flu.
Fourteen people in Kansas have now died after being infected with the H1N1 virus.
The Salina - Saline County Health Department will hold an H1N1 flu vaccination clinic this Thursday from two till six at the 4 H Building in Kenwood Park.
Children will be the main focus, but some adults will also be eligible to be vaccinated.
Those eligible to be vaccinated include children between the ages of 6 months and 4 years of age, pregnant women, students age 5 to 18 with chronic health conditions, household members and child care providers with a baby less than 6 months of age.
The vaccinations are free, but a parent must sign a consent form for children under the age of 18.
