K-State leads the 1st-Team All Big 12 Offense.

The All-Big 12 Football teams were announced on Tuesday with some surprises coming on the first team offense. The Kansas State Wildcats, who struggled on offense for much of the year, led all teams with four players named to the first team. Daniel Thomas was selected at running back, Jeron Mastrud at tight end, Nick Stringer on offensive line, and Brandon Banks as a kick returner. The Kansas Jayhawks landed one first team selection at wide receiver with Dezmon Briscoe. OKlahoma State had the second most first team offensive players, scoring three. On defense neither KU or K-State had any first team selections.

On the second teams, K-State landed Brandon Banks at receiver along with KU's Kerry Meier.

Mack Brown took home Coach of the Year honors for his undefeated regular season and Bill Synder was honorable mention. Daniel Thomas was also named the Big 12's newcomer of the year, the third straight year K-State has won that award, dating back to Deon Murphy in 2007 and Brandon Banks in 2008.
