Troopers say the crash happened just after 10:30 Saturday night on K 18 Highway about 3 miles east of Bennington.
A Bennington man is hurt in a crash in rural Ottawa County late Saturday night when his truck ends up on its top in a creek bottom.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 44-year-old Robert Kirby was driving a pickup truck east on K 18 Highway. For an unknown reason he veered off the right side of the road, over corrected, and then hit a guardrail. The truck went over the guardrail and came to a rest on its top in a creek bottom.
Kirby, who was not buckled up, was hurt. He was transported to the hospital in Salina.
