The Mustangs were led in scoring by Alex Williams how poured in 19 points, 13 of those came in the second half.

Everybody is in action tonight and we will begin coverage at 5:30 p.m. on Sports Radio 1150 - KSAL with the Central Kansas Basketball Roundup. Our featured coach this week will be Kevin Haxton of Ellsworth as we preview tonight's high school basketball match-ups.
Salina Central vs. Goddard
Sports Radio 1150 - KSAL
5:45 pregame/ 6:00 tipoff
The Salina Central Mustangs are in the midst of busy week as they will end up playing three games in four days thanks to Thursday night's makeup game with Campus. The good news for the Mustangs is that both games this week have resulted in wins, which have allowed Central to get a lot of bench players involved with the intent of keeping legs fresh for tonight. Goddard looks to be another potential victory as they have struggled mightily in league play. On the girls side, the Lady Mustangs are in need of a win having dropped three straight, however they face a tough opponent in Goddard, as the Lady Lions are well coached and is playing much better than they were earlier in the year.
Salina South vs. Derby
Y 93.7
5:50 pregame/ 6:00 tipoff
The Salina South Lady Cougars are rolling right now, winners of five straight, including a revenge win against Salina Central on Tuesday. Derby enters this match-up with just one win on the season and it is hard to imagine a scenario where Derby would be able to effectively challenge the Lady Cougars as South's defensive pressure should be too much in this contest. In the boys game, it is South who has a tough task before them. Derby is having a very good year and South has to find a way to forget about a tough loss to Central on Tuesday. South did not match up well the first time these two teams met, and the Cougars best hope is to the slow the game down and limit Derby's positions because South will have trouble out scoring them in a shoot out.
Sacred Heart @ Republic County
Classic Hits 104.9
5:50 pregame/ 6:00 tipoff
The Sacred Heart Knights will look to solidify their claim to the NCAA title as they travel to Bellville tonight. The Buffaloes of Republic County have struggled this year, however their slow it down, grind it out style means they will be in most games they play. This was an ugly one when these two teams met in Salina, so expect the same tonight. However, Sacred Heart just has too much firepower on offense to lose this game. In the girls match, Republic County has really come on strong to finish the year and the Lady Knights will need to be wary of the Lady Buffs in this game.
