Troopers say the truck left the west side of roadway and rolled.

A Bennington woman is hurt in a one-vehicle crash in rural Ottawa County that happened as severe weather was rolling through.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 52-year-old Ricci Guzman of Bennington was driving a pickup truck south on 170th Road just south of K18 . The truck left the west side of roadway and rolled.

Neither Guzman, nor a passenger 47-year-old Sally Guzman, was buckled up. At least one of them was trapped and was freed by rural firefighters.

Sally was transported by EMS to the hospital in Salina. Ricci was treated for possible injuries at the scene.

The crash happened just before 8:30 Friday night.
