After graduating college from Fort Hays State University in 1990 with a BA in Communication, he was the Program Director of a Hays radio station, then spent a year in radio in Cheyenne, Wyoming, before returning home to Salina. Since becoming a full-time reporter for KSAL in 2000, Todd worked his way up the ladder and is the News Director for the Salina Media Group Radio Stations. Todd oversees a staff of five reporters, who gather and produce news for six radio stations and the internet. Along the way, he has won over 25 awards from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters for news broadcasting excellence.
