Robert Henry Steele, 77, of Salina went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2012. Bob was born January 28, 1935 in Junction City, Kansas. Son of Robert Owen and Madeline (Pritchard) Steele. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Children: Shari Schreiber (Norb) of Denver
Lisa Conway (Joseph) and Lisas daughter Madeline of Salina Craig (Mandy) Steele, Ark City
Jim (Karen) Steele of Salina
Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren
Bob graduated from Kansas State University in 1959, magna cum laude. Throughout his career he worked at the Post office, Malone Van and Storage, Western Auto and in his retirement at Wal-Mart. Bob was a kind soul with a compassionate heart. Anyone who knew Bob knew of his sharp wit that brought laughter to many people. His love for movies and music was a lifelong passion. He had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. He attended Living Waters Worship Center.
Services will be Monday, June 25, 2:00 p.m. at Living Waters Worship Center, 1111 Elmhurst, Salina, Kansas with graveside in Roselawn Memorial Park.
