Dale Stewart, 83, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012, peacefully, at Cedars Health Care Center in McPherson, Kansas. Dale was born in Moundville, Missouri on August 11, 1928, the son of the late Ray and Alta (Edwards) Stewart.
He attended Mount Vernon High School, Mount Vernon, Missouri. Dale was a member of First United Methodist Church McPherson, Kansas.
He served in the US Army as a MSG. in WW II as a MP in Berlin, Germany where he met Anneliese Krenz. They were married on February 8, 1949 in Berlin, Germany.
He worked as a district sales manager for Toms Food of Columbus, Georgia. He retired in 1992 after thirty-one years of service to the company. He then drove for Midway Motors, McPherson, Kansas after retirement.

Brother: Don (Viola) Stewart of Springfield, Missouri
Two sisters-in-law: Marilyn Stewart widow of Jack

Seven grandchildren: Jenni (Gunner) Peterson

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
Memorial Service information will be announced at a later date.
Private family graveside services will be at the Monitor Church Cemetery, rural McPherson, Kansas.
