Shad Ryan Katzenmeier, 38, of Ellsworth, died Sunday July 29, 2012. He was born June 8, 1974 in Salina the son of Dennis and Clovia (Dossett) Katzenmeier.
Shad was a heavy equipment operator for 20 years. He worked for Apac Shears Construction, K.R. Wind Construction, Mortenson Electrical Company, and Turner Brothers Crane and Rigging. Shad was an avid outdoors man and he enjoyed family and friends.

Wife: Julia of Ellsworth
One son: Eragen of the home
Two daughters: Tress and Natzali of the home
Parents: Dennis and Clovia of Ellsworth
One brother: Shain of Wichita
Grandmother: Marjorie Dossett of Salina
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, Aug 3, 2012, at the St Johns Lutheran Church, 302 S 7th, Salina.
Burial will be in the Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th, Salina, with family greeting visitors from 6:00 to 8:00.
