Lawrence (Bus) Alexander died August 14, 2012 at Community Care Inc., Clifton, KS at the age of 89. He was born on April 6, 1923 in Clifton Kansas, the son of Trefflia and Elizabeth (Esslinger) Alexander. Bus was born and raised in the Clifton community.
He attended #7 country school and graduated from Clifton High School. Bus taught school before serving in the US Army during WWII. Bus married Rita Ruhkamp on November 4, 1947. They made their home and farmed near Clifton. Bus was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and the American Legion both of Clifton.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Jim and 4 sisters, Marguerite Martin, Edna Gieber, Odella Kantak and Lorene Dugan.

Grandchildren: 18 Grandchildren, 6 Step-Grandchildren, 32 Great-grandchildren & 20 Step-Great-grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the St. Marys Catholic Church in Clifton, Kansas.
Burial will be at the St. Mary Cemetery, Clifton, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday 5-7 PM at St. Marys Catholic Church with rosary at 7PM.
