Gwen O. WIlliams passed away Thursday August 16, 2012 at Smoky Hill Rehabilitation center in Salina, KS.
Gwen was bron January 11, 1917 to parents Louis and Jewell (CLinton) Neaderhiser in Lingford, Kansas.
Gwen grew up in Longford, and graduated from Miltonvale High School in 1934. She attened Miltonvale Wesleyan College and Wichita Business COllege. Gwen married Bill Williams on June 23, 1940 and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1962. She worked as an aoffice assistant for Twin Valley Telephone until 1982 and she was also an Avon representative. Gwen moved to Salina in 2005.

1 great grandson
and one great granddaughter.
Gwen was active in the Miltonvale Christian Church and served as a Deaconess, was a Sunday school teacher, member of CWF, and helped with VBS.
She is survived by
sons: Clinton and wife, Pam Williams, Ellisnore, MO
Bradley and wife, Lindsay WIlliams, Las Vegas, NV
Daughter: Toni and husband Marv Hamel, Salina, KS
9 Granddaughters and 11 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Miltonvale Christian Church in Miltonvale, KS.
Ministers: Pastor Scott Campbell and Mr. Larry Sullivan
The burial will be in Miltonvale Cemetary. Visitation will be help from 9:30 AM until service time at the church on Tuesday. Memorial may be made to the Miltonvale Christian Church and sent in care of the funeral home. |
